The result is a wood-like dish, bowl or platter that is microwavable, resistant to refrigeration or heat, but is biodegradable and compostable, in two months time after its tossed.

Additionally, the factories use 10% of the energy that most recycled paper plates use and the water used to press the leaves is recaptured and reused as well making it a truly natural, non-toxic, renewable, sustainable and compostable alternative to paper or plastic.
