I purchased these for our wedding. We could not afford to rent china but couldn't bear to have plastic and this provides us with a great alternative. I purchased the 8 inch plate but thought they were a little small for the main dish. I then purchased the 11 inch to be the bottom plate than 8 inch to layer on top. I also bought the small round plates for cake. The plates are pretty light wait but are very sturdy. I am happy with the decision we made to use these not only for their look but also for the sustainability. I couldn't imagine using paper or plastic plates for wedding so this was awesome to find. We also have are having a rusticso it fits in well with a lot of other decorations. Shipping was fast and without any problems

These plates are beautiful..each one is different. They will look amazing at my wedding. I know that it will be hard for people to believe that they are meant to be compostable being so well made and elegant. Thanks for the quick service
