Definitely makes a statement!
Probably enjoy the 'dish' shapes more in the warmer weather and the 'deep' bowls in colder months depending on menu and temps of food served.
An additional plus is that EB has increased serving sizes over the years to accommodate spreads for larger groups in addition to previous capacities for intimate gatherings.
Been gradually collecting since the '80s and have noted the difference in the spacing of transfers/lithos from those in their budding days. Nonetheless, MR designs and EB produces calligraphic tableware better than any~save custom artisans, IMHO.
As far as price, value & quality ratings go, i will simply say that Joanne Hudson has increased 'sale' opportunities (now an extended Black Friday in addition to Boxing Day) for purchasing hard to obtain EB in the states, for which i'm most grateful, considering the challenges conducting business with an overseas vendor. Verrry well packed EB items are typically first quality and in primo (no scratching from stacking) condition.
What clinches purchases of EB from JH for me in addition to sales, stock range and depth and internal quality control are Jonathan & Duncan - quite the customer service dynamic duo!
Forgive my lengthy review, but simple stars don't always tell the true story of a satisfied customer.
Thank you!!!

I give these to my wife as gifts, as I'm sure many people do. When you send the package you have your name all over the outside of the shipping box which completely kills the surprize. Please send your product in a plain box with NO logos on the ouside. Save the money and useit to reduce the prices..
Thank you
