Bridgewater Pottery's Polka Dot line of dinnerware is fun and flirty. At the peak of the polka craze, from 1840 to 1890, a variety of manufacturers cashed in on the public's polka-mania by naming a dizzying range of specifically patterned products after the dance. Polka-dotted products, had little or nothing to do with the dance, but sold like hotcakes, for a few years. The polka dot pattern, however, had staying power, and remains popular today. Bridgewater Pottery is made in England. Each piece is hand painted, hand finished and unique. All Bridgewater Pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
A merry way to serve cake, store cake or transport cake.
