La Cornue was founded in 1908 by Albert Dupuy and is now run by his grandson Xavier Dupuy. The famous vaulted oven of La Cornue stoves uses radiant heat to cook. Aside from countless top rated, famous chefs worldwide- La Cornues can also be found in the homes of Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Celine Dion, Robin Williams, and French presidents Jacques Chirac and Valery Giscard D'Estaing.
