Stainless Steel Chopper
The Italians call it a Mezzaluna and the French call it 'berceus' (because of the cradling movement made while in use). We just call it fabulous for chopping salads and herbs - because the half moon blade and sturdy handle prevents bruising. With a natural wood handle and a stainless steel blade, this chopper makes prep work a snap.
Handmade using the wood from the logging mills in Granville Vermont. The Bowl Mill wood products come directly from nature and have all the character of the trees they come from - individual differences are what makes the bowls unique and one-of-a-kind. The variances in color, grain, uniformity and even roundness are the norm. With minimal care, these fine wood products will last a lifetime and can be easily passed down through generations. As with all natural wood products these items are not dishwasher safe and should not be allowed to soak in water for extended periods of time. Periodic oiling of wood products, with mineral oil will keep them looking great for many years to come.
