Barclay on training wheels
The very first piggy bank wasn't a pig at all but a pot made of orange-colored clay called 'pygg'. The pots with a slot for coins to save whenever there was one. became so popular the trend remains centuries later. In many cultures, the pig symbolizes prosperity and good fortune. We think we were fortunate to find these cute little tin gems in red or blue.
Inspired by the Emma Bridgewater patterns, these tin piggy banks are produced by the same Emma Bridgewater Tin manufacturer and therefore complement their patterns! A great addition to your edition!
